While most of our blogs are about more serious topics, I decided to switch things up a bit today! This weekend our CTO came across a “New Mac” scented candle, and sent it out to a couple of us in the office, and I thought it was too cool not to share.
Twelve South, a designer of accessories for Apple, based in South Carolina, is trying to bring back the memory of opening up the box of your Mac for the first time with this new candle. Now, I got my Mac a long time ago, so I can’t really remember if it had a smell, but this company is really making me rethink that.
The website says that it’s a mix of mint, peach, basil, lavender, and sage, which definitely sounds like an interesting mix.
While I might not be fully convinced of its scent accuracy just yet, the fact is this candle looks pretty cool, and with the holidays coming up it could make a great gift for the Apple lover in your life!
P.S. While I’m sitting here writing, I am actively debating whether or not to buy this. If I do, I’ll make sure to let you know if it lives up to its name!
