Work should not be something you do while life passes by; it should be a place where you can create meaning for your life. It’s a big part of your life, but not your whole life. So we want IT Freedom to be a place that offers challenging, rewarding work in the service of others. We also think that happy employees create happy customers. Happiness comes from a pleasant, comfortable work environment; friendly, smart, supportive colleagues; trust, yet accountability; and a true feeling of ownership.
So we provide our employees with outstanding perks and benefits, including generous profit-sharing bonuses and even stock ownership, so you can truly behave as an owner, sharing in the direct rewards for your hard work, and accumulating long-term wealth for the security of you and your family.
During your first several weeks here, you can expect to spend a lot of time in training: learning all about our benefits, history, services, policies, and the specific skills and requirements specific to your job. We will assign you a mentor to help with your training, but you’ll find everyone here very eager to help you get up to speed.
We will allow and expect you to take ownership of your job. You’ll be given a lot of latitude to do it and the responsibility that that entails. You will very likely make mistakes; everyone does, so it’s not the end of the world when it happens. But when it does happen, we expect you to own up to it.
Your work will be varied and challenging. Part of this comes with the jack-of-all-trades nature of working for a small company, but mostly it’s the nature of employee ownership. You’ll work hard, and depending on your job you may have to work some evenings and weekends.
Our open-book management will keep you fully informed of how well IT Freedom is performing financially. We go over the books every month in one of our weekly staff meetings. At the end of the year, if and only if we’ve exceeded our financial goals for the year, you will reap the rewards of your hard work through our profit-sharing bonuses and stock ownership plan.
If you can find better benefits anywhere else, we’d like to hear about them! We offer:
