Full Health Insurance Coverage
We provide full medical coverage for all full-time employees and their families. We pay 100% of your medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums and 50% of your dependent premiums. Our provider is Principal Insurance, consistently ranked one of the very best insurance companies around in terms of customer satisfaction. Our preferred provider organization is Texas True Choice, one of the largest provider organizations in the state of Texas.
Company-Contributed Health Savings Account
For employees wanting more control over their health insurance dollars, we now offer a Health Savings Account option with our medical insurance plan. Instead of our standard "80/20" medical insurance policy, with its low deductible and standard co-pays, you can choose a high-deductible plan with an associated HSA. The money that IT Freedom saves on premiums we contribute to your HSA account. You pay all of your medical expenses out of pocket through your HSA until you reach your deductible, but a) you're using pre-tax dollars to pay for them, and b) IT Freedom is contributing to the HSA, so it may be a better option for you. Plus, whatever you don't spend out of your HSA, you can accrue from year to year.
Short and Long Term Disability Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and Travel Assistance
A recent benefit we've added is Short and Long Term Disability insurance with UNUM. IT Freedom also pays 100% of the premiums for this as well. This provided employees with income security should they need it. Both the short term and long term pays up to 60% of a salary with programs to help you get back to work.
In addition to the disability insurance, UNUM provides our employees access to a great Employee Assistance Program. Here you have access to masters-level counselors that can assist you with personal or work related problem. You also have access to their Travel Assistance program that can help you track down lost baggage, or get you to proper health care facilities when you're abroad. We're really excited to offer this rich new benefit to our employees.
401(k) Plan
We offer a great 401(k) retirement plan to all employees, as evidenced by the nearly 100% participation in it. As a new employee, you can contribute to it from day one. Moreover, once you've been with us for a year, IT Freedom can begin matching 100% of your contribution, up to 4% of your salary. The investment choices available to you are very well respected and competitive, with some of the lowest administrative fees in the industry.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Time off is important to your mental and physical well-being and is therefore encouraged. Our Paid Time Off (PTO) policy gives you the maximum amount of flexibility in managing time away from work by setting up a bank of time to be used for sick, vacation or personal leave, as you choose. Full-time employees earn 15 days of PTO per year, accrued every pay period.
Flex Time
Working here is very demanding, so we try to provide you with as much flexibility in your schedule as possible, so that you can work around your family commitments, get adequate rest after long or late hours, and conduct personal business without burning your paid time off.
Remote Work Options
It's important for you to be able to do your job no matter what time of day or night, regardless of the weather condition, or whether or not you might be contagious. We provide the necessary tools to you so that you can effectively get the job done.
Training, Education and Certification Discount Program Opportunities
The more confident you feel about your knowledge, the better we can serve our customers and the more you can contribute to the team. We want to equip you with as much knowledge about the IT field as possible. We do reimburse for certification programs and pay for attendance to certain seminars.
Catered Lunches
Every Friday, we cater lunch from Freebirds, Zen, Potbelly, and a number of other fast-casual eateries for our weekly staff meeting and social hour. You might see some of us washing it down with a bottle of brew, as well.
Other Benefits
We are constantly improving our benefits to our employees. Recently we have added access to supplemental insurance products through Colonial Life. We've started a Wellness Program with monthly philanthropic events such as 5Ks, Habitat for Humanity, and Operation Blue Santa; and social events like bowling, movie nights at the Draft House, and rock-climbing.
